Clarizio Music's Rock Band Performed at Sinderella's Ball to benefit people with ALS
We would like to thank the organizers of the 4th annual Sinderella's Ball for letting us participate in their event on December 2nd. Hosted at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, the event once again raised funds and awareness in the fight against ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Money raised went toward Joan Dancy and PALS (People with ALS), a Red Bank-based group that helps to provide equipment and services to Monmouth and Ocean county residents with ALS.Sindy Weiner who suffered from ALS and passed away in Oct this year, inspired the event. Her husband, Louis Weiner said, “The event is in its fourth year, and we raised $100,000 in each of those years. We’re ahead of the previous years and maybe the end result will be we’re a little better than that.” Jay Kanofsky, a friend of the Weiner family, created Sinderella's Ball with a group of friends.Clarizio Music's Rock Band performed and the owners were thrilled to be involved. "It was a memorable night for our young rock stars. A night they will never forget! We are thankful to all the friends and family that came out to support us and a great cause. We also want to give a special “Thank You” to STRUMBERRY PIE for letting us use your drum kit and most of all, your words of encouragement and support for our young students - Thank You!We are already looking forward to next year's event!"
