Vocal Troupe

The Idol Time Vocal Troupe is a singing competition team for aspiring, committed vocalists with a passion for singing. These intensive programs include in-depth vocal technique training, stylized voice coaching, ear & harmony training, artist development, audition training and performance skills. Miss Kayla facilitates the growth of each team member’s personal repertoire while teaching diverse group material to ensure versatility. Troupe members practice 4 hours per week:

September 2018-July 2019 Schedule

Elite Vocal Troupe~ Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-8pm

Junior Vocal Troupe~ Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-6pm

Idol Time offers our Vocal Troupes various memorable performance experiences throughout the local competition circuit. Members receive optimal exposure/feedback from qualified judges and are adjudicated on their own merit. Members attend one national event and perform in an exclusive vocal troupe recital showcasing material they’ve mastered.

Idol Time Vocal Troupe places a strong emphasis on community service. Some of our past service includes:

~Creating and hosting an Anti-Bullying Fundraising Talent Show with proceeds benefitting Steered Straight

~Performing and raising money for organizations including Oasis Farms, the OCVTS Hopes and Dreams Scholarship and Comcast Cares

~Volunteering for local community events such as the annual Brick Hero Awards

Idol Time strives to create well rounded and prepared individuals in the world of performing arts. Our most notable performance opportunities afforded to troupe members include singing at the legendary Stone Pony, performing the National Anthem for the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly, and most recently, making our television debut singing on NJ News 12’s “Sounds of the Season”!

Idol Time is seeking new talent for our Elite & Junior Competition Teams (2018 Season). Auditions will be held by appointment only throughout the spring. Our goal is to establish and maintain two dynamic performance teams.

Auditioners should prepare two contrasting songs with instrumental tracks (no lead vocals) to sing. There will also be an interview phase and an ear/harmony training test.
